“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God [is] faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear [it.]” - 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV)
We may have reasons to doubt men, but not God. To be faithful is to be trustworthy. God is trustworthy. He can be counted on for anything and at anytime.
His faithfulness is revealed in what He permits in our lives. The Lord will not allow anything into our lives that is more than we can bear.
It will therefore mean that whatever we encounter in life as temptations or trials, should be seen as challenges that lack the ability to consume us or end our lives.
This is the reason we can all sing through a problem. It’s the reason we are admonished to maintain a thankful heart, regardless of what we see happening around us. Our God is ever faithful!
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV)
